Matthew (“Matt”) Somers, an attorney with Chason, Rosner, Leary & Marshall LLC, is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and The Bar Association of Baltimore City. While attending the University of Baltimore School of Law, Matt served as a Production Editor on the Executive Board for the University of Baltimore Law Review, as a Member of the Moot Court Board, and as a Member of the Saul Lefkowitz Brand Names Foundation Moot Court Team. Matt also represented community associations and non-profit organizations as a Student Attorney with the University of Baltimore Community Development Clinic, and served as a law clerk for the Office of the Maryland Attorney General at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Following graduation from law school and prior to joining Chason, Rosner, Leary & Marshall, Matt served as law clerk to The Honorable Audrey J.S. Carrion in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, where he gained extensive experience with the court’s civil and business & technology dockets. Matt focuses his practice on general civil litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and commercial disputes.
