Matthew M. Somers

Matthew “Matt” Somers is a member of Chason, Rosner, Leary & Marshall, LLC. Matt focuses his practice on civil litigation matters including medical malpractice, insurance, professional liability, premises liability, product liability, personal injury, general liability, and commercial matters through all phases of litigation. Matt began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Audrey J.S. Carrion in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. He has thereafter spent the duration of his career at CRLM, where he has had the privilege of representing clients including healthcare providers, insurance carriers, corporate clients, and individuals regarding a broad array of civil litigation and related matters, including successful litigation of cases to verdict and judgment at trial. Matt has been recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyers® Rising Star. He is also an active member of the Maryland-DC Society for Healthcare Risk Management, where he currently serves as Chair of the Communications Committee.
