Francis “Skip” Leary, a founding member of Chason, Rosner, Leary & Marshall, LLC, is a member
of the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts state bar associations. He began his career in a
small plaintiffs’ practice in Baltimore in 1992, where he honed his litigation and appellate skills in
both Federal and State Court.
With extensive trial experience ranging from civil rights to commercial litigation, employment law
to sexual harassment, Skip later became a partner at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP. His practice
there focused on medical malpractice litigation, representing hospitals and healthcare providers
throughout the state. This experience naturally transitioned to the performance of quality
assurance seminars for local physicians, hospitals and nursing homes to improve the safety
and well being of patients.
Skip is an experienced trial attorney, handling a wide range of litigation matters ranging from
medical malpractice and personal injury to commercial disputes. He routinely practices before
the state, federal and appellate courts of Maryland.
